it trims. it does what it's supposed to.

it doesn't "vacuum" very well. i'd say about 60% of the trimmings make it into the vacuumed compartment.

My husband loves it! And more importantly he can up after himself with the help of the vacuum in the clippers and it doesn’t get in the sink anymore. I would recommend it for the men in the women’s lives that have pet peeves like I do of the hair in the sink issue. It’s perfect for any occasion too.

I really enjoy this product it cuts very well and close to the skin. the motor is really strong and the blades are a thick metal. the only problem with this Wahl is the angle you have to cut at. the way the blade is positioned, you almost have to have the shaver at a 20 degree angle to your body. which is very inconvenient and odd to me. I guess it has to get some taken used to, to get over this issue.

Oh, the vacuum is excellent. no mess.

BTW, the chrome on the outside is painted plastic.

HAD IT FOR TWO YEARS NOW. I’VE BEEN MEANING TO WRITE A REVIEW BUT KEPT PUTTING IT OFF. THERE IS HOWEVER AND ADDED BENEFIT FROM A REVIEW OF A PRODUCT THATS BEEN USED FOR A WHILE. I’LL SAY THE BAD FIRST; IT’S UNUSUALLY LOUD AND IT’S HARD TO SEE WHERE THE BLADE IS WHEN HOLDING IN CERTAIN POSITIONS (LIKE THE TOP OF THE MUSTACHE). THE GOOD THINGS VASTLY OUT NUMBER THE BAD. IT SHAVES CLOSER THAN THE FIVE OR SIX I’VE HAD BEFORE. IT’S VERY DURABLE. THE BATTERY STILL HOLDS A CHARGE. IT CAN BE USED PLUGGED IN (I’VE HAD TO TOSS OUT OTHERS WHEN THE BATTERIES STOPPED HOLDING A CHARGE) AND IT DOESN’T LEAVE BUMPS. -IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE A COARSE OR THICK BEARD. I THINK MOST WILL BE HAPPY WITH THIS IF YOU HAVE A TINY TRIMMER TO GET THE BLIND SPOTS…AND MAYBE A SET OF EAR PLUGS.

I thought this was a great idea and, for a week or so it was. It vacuumed most (but most definitely not ALL) the hair trimmed. However, after a couple of weeks, I could not get the battery to hold a charge and the battery can’t be replaced on the thing! And cleaning out the vacuumed trimmings is not a simple process.
