I’m not sure if its louder or has more vibrations, but the second time I attempted to cut my 3 year old and 17 month old sons’ hair with it- they both freaked out – begging me not to use it. I managed to get a few swipes in on both kids and the outcome was pretty bad. Even the ice cream prize that accompanies haircuts wasn’t enough of a consolation prize. So the next night, back I went to the $15 buzzer I had bought from Kohl’s and the kids happily ate their ice cream and let mommy go about her business- fixing the damage done from the night before.
And as exciting as 27 pieces sounds- it didn’t offer the transitions I needed to give the boys an even, faded cut. I usually use 1/8″ along their neckline and fade to a 1/2″ on top. It comes with the same 3 sizes, (1/8, 1/4 and 1/2) but the results weren’t as nice. Not as smooth of a transition. The small, battery buzzer that comes with it, is cute and didn’t scare the kids quite as much, but it only makes the “bare-est” of cuts. So if you have a squirmy kid (what 18 month old isn’t?) you get bald spots. Although its funny, its not what you were hoping for. Overall, a disappointing purchase.

I have owned many clippers but this is by far the worst. It started to rust after two weeks of having it. Absolutely awful, plus the noise it makes is deafening. Plus it doesn’t cut well. A waste of my money.

I was looking for a hair trimmer made by Apple, what I bought was this. The grip is comfortable but the trimmer is large, heavy and cumbersome. The vibration is pronounced when operating. The on-off switch is coarse to operate and too small. The small battery powered trimmer is a nice accessory but it feels like it came from the dollar store and it speeds up and slows down with a mind of its own (with new batteries). The soft case is large and holds all of the accessories. Their are several differnt size cutters to accomodate most needs. If you drive a Dodge Ram, this is your clipper. If you prefer the Honda Ridgeline, looks somewhere else. Though it functions as promised, it feels as though the design has not been refined since the 70’s. I would not buy this trimmer again.

Amazon is easier to use, cheaper price for this product.
This product is the easiest-to-find in the best value category.
Better price on same basic product than from Wal-Mart stores.
Free shipping, no tax.
If you have to have it fast, IF YOU drive to Wal-Mart TO SEE if they have this one…
…IF Wal-Mart has it on the shelf: 44.90
(ever think you’d save time, money, gas, mileage)
The cost breakdown shipping, and tax included adds to the cost about an extra 10.00
(WITH THE SAME ITEM NUMBER at Wal-Mart)
If you’re already at Wal-Mart without gas money/special trip
41.16+tax(3.74) = 44.90
same item shipped from Wal-Mart + [6.97](shipping) at Wal-mart about 51.87
SAME ITEM (In the mail free shipping-no tax) at Amazon.com total: 41.48
It was worth the wait and wasn’t worth risk finding it wasn’t available at
Wal-Mart in-store and wasting a special trip. If you were already there, it would be worth it in your time to get it there, yeah that’s true except you’re already HERE now.
A High Speed internet connection is a big plus and definitely makes it worthwhile, as also does internet (purchasing) experience…
again time on the internet is usually lower than a special trip to Wal-Mart
saves gas and mileage. Have your debit/credit card ready.
You may think that the same item# for 34.98 at Wal-Mart is cheaper; IT ISN’T:
It has a lower number of attachments/accessories with a HIGHER PRICE,
Wal-Mart TOTAL price SHIPPED to you for the 34.98 item: 44.80
The breakdown is:(34.98)with 6.97 shipping, plus the tax = 44.80
vs. Amazon.com total: 41.48
Full product attachments/accessories for 41.48 is very nearly unbeatable.
It isn’t worth the time to look elsewhere either. Already did that one.
It all comes down to Amazon.com is easier to use and cheaper on this product.

Just bought it to use it to cut my dogs hair, it did ok job but not worth the price, since CONAIR is just 14 bugs at MARSHALLS or ROSS and does the same job. So, not worth the price though did the job.
